About

HL Media makes short, cinematic films for people who work with horses — yards, riders, tack shops, farriers, saddlers and sales liveries. Everything we shoot is built for the way people actually watch: vertical, fast, and made to stop a thumb.

The business is Harriet Lightfoot. She films, she edits, and she delivers — which means the person who agreed your shot list is the person standing in your yard at seven in the morning.

Most of the work is in Lincolnshire, but the camera travels. Recent filming has taken her as far as Aylesbury to work with a top rider, and work further afield is quoted on request.

The approach is the same wherever it happens: a plan agreed in advance, a morning that moves, and clips that arrive ready to post.

Considered

Nothing rushed, nothing cluttered. Generous space is part of the work, not wasted room.

Earned

Laurels and gold imply achievement. Every claim made here is one we can stand behind.

Warm

Premium, never cold. These are people's animals and livelihoods. The tone stays human.

Consent and welfare

Anyone recognisable on camera should know they are being filmed and be happy for the footage to be used commercially. Horse welfare always outranks the shot — if an animal is unsettled, the shot is not worth it.
