Rehab yard talks through a Fairfax roller

A one-minute vertical clip in which a rehab yard explains a Fairfax roller it uses regularly, filmed in a covered barn.

The piece was filmed on 3 September 2026 for a rehab yard, on a piece of kit the yard uses often: a Fairfax roller. In Harriet's words, it is a great piece of kit that they wouldn't be without. The clip runs to one minute, vertical, 1080 x 1920.

It was shot in a covered barn with a corrugated roof, strip lights on and stables behind a metal grille. A dark horse stands in wood shavings in a quilted saddle pad and the leather roller, metal rings showing along the top. A woman in a navy polo shirt stands at the horse's shoulder and talks to camera, pointing to the roller and to the horse's back. Two frames cut in close: one on the roller itself, one on the clearance over the spine.

The light is flat and indoor, daylight from the open side mixed with fluorescent tubes. HL Media works with that rather than against it, so the barn looks like the barn does. The close frames carry the detail the speaker is pointing at, which is the part a viewer on a phone needs to see.

HL Media is based in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and films this kind of short-form work for yards, riders, tack shops, farriers, saddlers, sales liveries, shows and brands.
